whfis limited are Independent Financial Advisers based in Purton, Wiltshire, between Swindon and Cirencester. The company was established in 1995 by its then Principle, Mike Stannard, and traded until July 2002 as White Horse Financial & Insurance Services. The new company came into being upon direct regulation with the Financial Services Authority (FSA). As an organisation we are able to offer both personal and corporate clients independent and unbiased advice suited to personal needs and circumstances. To achieve this we operate a full financial planning service in which all clients are encouraged to be actively involved. We recognise that one of life’s few certainties is its continual change. We recognise that from a personal point of view jobs may change, marriages will come and go, children will be born, pay rises, retirement, redundancy and inheritances may all be major factors in our lives. Eventually so will health problems and death. From a corporate point of view businesses will start and expand, employees will be sought and dispensed with, business will be sold and profits made. Some businesses will fail and money will need to be raised. Some of these are within our control. Some things however are not. Stock Markets will go down as well as up, institutions with whom we deal will get taken over or merge, interest rates will change, as will rates of taxation. Governments will come and go and so therefore will their philosophies. Investment and insurance products will be launched and the economic environment will move year after year. Our objective from a financial planning point of view is to build long-term relationships. Our commitment is to develop these relationships and ensure that the relationship is built upon the needs of our clients rather than the needs of ourselves. Our clients need to know that amongst the ever-changing pattern of events there is some consistency. Regular meetings and communications aim to provide this consistency, making not only our services but indeed our time available on a continuous basis. |
